It's almost day 20 of my 28 day cycle and I'll be darned if my temperatures have been 97.2 plus or minus .1 degree every day. No cm whatsoever I might add. In previous months usually I had at least some good cm for a couple of days. Should I chalk this up to bad luck? Or go see a doctor? *frustrated*
After seven months of TTC and 1 m/c, I thought I would chart my bbt... Nothing is happening. Help?
You may have found out this month through charting that you are having a anovulatory cycle. meaning you are not ovulating as you thought. That is the wonderful thing about charting - you can pinpoint a problem immediately and seek the help you need based on that information.
You can check out other bbt charts through the cycle gallery at
http://www.ovusoft.com
They have many examples of real women who suffer from anovulatory cycles - compare your chart to theirs and see if there are similarities. Its' free to browse. You will find the cycle gallery specifically at

In addition, buy the book "Taking charge of your fertility" which can be found on this website. Actually the website is a spin-off of the book. The book will answer every question you will have concerning TTC - in particular BBT, CM, and Cervical position.
You will become addicted to looking at these charts! I have.
Good Luck
Reply:How long ago was your miscarriage?
Have you been sick, more stressed than usual lately, traveling, anything like that?
*It very well could be a fluke.
I normally have 30 day cycles, but one month I was really off and there was no apparent reason for it. I didn't O until day 23 and I only had a 9 day luteal phase as opposed to my usual 12.
I'd say try 1 more month, then go to the doctor. If you're charting there is no reason to wait the year that is normally recommended you wait.
Reply:If it's just your first cycle, I wouldn't see a doctor yet. You may be ovulating some cycles and not others. If you see two cycles in a row with no thermal shift, you are probably not ovulating and should see a doctor.
