were the same thing. now i realize they arent, what effect will the yeast have on the pie? it will obviously rise, will it effect the flavor? will it make the pie inedible?

I used bread yeast in a recipe of spinach and artichoke pie, instead of nutritional yeast b/c i thought they?
Don't know about the taste. I don't think it will effect it.
There will not be much rising as the yeast needs sugar to feed on.
