Does anyone else think the O.C. is going downhill these days?

I have been a fan of the O.C. up until the last few episodes this season. I know it is being cancelled and I can see why, ever since Marissa left it seems they have lost the good writing of the previous seasons. Does anyone else think the current storylines just don't compare to the older seasons? I'll miss the show when it is gone because I still like it but just wish they wouldn't go out in these last episodes with crappy stories.

I actually thought this season was really good after Marissa died, but since the whole Taylor storyline with her French ex-husband, I've been really uninterested in the whole show. The Summer and Seth engagement was stupid, and I hate Che too. Hopefully it'll pick up again for the last 4(?) episodes.

Reply:I know what you mean, I miss the old O.C. and the storyline was much better in the first and second season. Since Marissa left the show its been the end for them. There are a few episodes left to the finale of the show, I won't get my hopes up but I think its time.

they should really consider making series that only lasted for 1 or 2 seasons instead of milking the stories dry season after season, leaving viewers annoyed by the pathetic development of their fav tv characters....
Reply:Yeha I think so and thats why it has been canceled. It all sucks now!!
Reply:Yeah it's called sexual tension. Once everyone hooked up with everyone else, they blew it, no more interest.
