An amendment on D.C. as 51st state has come up before in recent past.





Since Obama had won D.C., do you think as president he would call for an amendment to make it a state?





Maybe it should be a state given that the Democrats take it for granted.

Reply:Since he and his pastor have shown such admiration for the black separatist, Farrakhan, maybe they would like to take it over for a completely black nation state of its own. Then Obama could be president, Reverend Wright could be its Billy Graham, and the poet laureate could be....oh wait, she supports Clinton.

Reply:What difference would that make to the dems? Statehood for DC won't make any difference in the populations voting patterns. I'm not sure what DC's residents think of statehood. Are they for it or against it? It would give them elected representation in the Congress.

Reply:Obama thinks he is a so called King and he is a king of lies and deceit. Anyone who believes him needs help. But he believes himself and I feel sorry for him. But not sorry enough to vote for him. And D.C. cannot become a state. It is a District and the law says so. So do not believe anything like that. And tell Obama to go somewhere anywhere but the U.S. Tell him to go to the North Pole and live there. But then he would melt it.
Reply:Making DC a state would provide the democrats the assurance of two additional Senators as well as an additional majority in the House. If DC is entitled to statehood, then my half acre in Texas should be as well.
