Do you think J.C penny or Sears is a great place to buy prescription glasses from?

never tried there but I thought the frames were "less than optimal" - I'm being nice

Sears, their optical department is one of the best for a mjaor department store, to me, but neither are all that great, so I'd suggest either Lens Crafters or a local eye doctor.

I use Lenscrafters now, and they are a little more expensive, but they have awesome frames!

Find a local eye doctor and settle for the frames he offers.
Reply:I have no idea, never did, never would. I've worn glasses all my life. Probably OK, they have to have certified people same as RX Optical or any optometrist.
