Who here thinks that C.Ronaldo is the most overrated player in the world?

After wtching yet another poor Ronaldo performance against Milan(in both legs in fact!),I can't understand how this guy is being called the best player in the world!He gives the ball away far too often,dosen't track back to help the defence,constantly dives,blames others for his mistakes,wastes the ball way too often and gets takled too often





But thats only my opinion,What's yours?

Who here thinks that C.Ronaldo is the most overrated player in the world?
He is overrated, but maybe not the most overrated player in the world. People think he's that good because they're amazed by his tricks, but what they don't realize is that his tricks don't work more than half the time and he ends up just giving the ball away, like he did over a hundred times today. Kaka should take his place is the best player in the world right now.

if u know anything about football and have been following the season and not jumping on a bandwagon, u'll know in ur hearts that ronaldo is a superb player.......

Reply:I think that the only people calling C.Ronaldo the best player in the world are the hard core Man U fans who are extremely over the top with their loyalty.If C.Ronaldo had played for Chelsea for instance we would have heard a great deal less about him because some Man U fans are really ridiculously arrogant.


C.Ronaldo is no doubt a skilled player with a lot of tricks but he seems to me rather selfish and more apt to show off rather than concentrating on making his team win. However he is still young and should improve, and will hopefully get over selfish tendencies and the suspicious falls which seem too frequent.

think about it - he scores because he gets a huge number of opportunities. How many shots does he miss? I bet he leads the league in missed shots. And he still doesn't play really well defensively.

I think he is a good player but he is overrated, he should really get out of the English Premier League so people will have more respect for him. I think he is about as good as he will ever get at this point; people should start looking for players with potential like Messi. Reply:He is highly overrated but not the most. Most people only watch him for entertainment, such as his stepovers and dribbling (not to mention oscar nominatioons for his dives). He was highly to blame for the loss. Milan's manager knew that Ronaldo would not track back, so he attacked on the left to expose this weakness. The reason he was highly ineffective on the flank was because Genarro Gattuso and Ambrosini immediately closes him down. I believe he is highly self-centered and would take a crack on goal rather than pass to a better positioned player. I don't blame him on his diving though. As the PFA player of the year, he has to live up to the name. If he can't deliver the goods, the only alternative is to get some free kicks/penalties for the team.
