Does anyone think J.C. smoked the ganja?

I mean, it IS an herb from God's green earth. I don't even care that He sported sandals. His teachings were waaay deep, and I don't think He had to worry about the 5.0. back in the day either. And no, I'm not high right now.

Does anyone think J.C. smoked the ganja?
Not likely much of it in that area at that time, Opium is more likely and was not uncommon during that time period.

I do not think that lessens his validity as the Christ either, neither does the possibility of his being married to Mary Magdalene (many historians think the wedding at Canaan might well have been his and there is some evidence that, that is possible)

He was fully God and Fully human and for A Jewish Religous teacher (rabbi) not to marry was unusual and considered a bad thing in most cases.

Doom tints. There is evidence, even in the bible that Jesus did not keep entirely Kosher and MJ is not un-kosher since it is an herb and all herbs are. I just don't think it was around that area much, but opium was and religious teachers used it to expand their minds at that time.
Reply:Jesus never did drugs.

Reply:I think he experienced everything that this world has to offer.
Reply:I don't know, ask Satan.
Reply:LOL!
Reply:Please let me know the value of this post from your perspective that is about off IMHO
Reply:I think he used it as a sacred oil, for annointing.

Eliezer Ben-Yehuda (1859-1922) is credited almost single-handedly with reviving the Hebrew language in the last century, and with being THE highest authority on virtually all matters of translation, etc. He even started the Academy of the Hebrew Language which still exists today and has "binding authority" on the Israeli government in matters of the Hebrew language.

In the 1964 Ben-Yehuda Hebrew-English / English-Hebrew dictionary it says that kaneh bosm is cannabis hemp, page 140.
Reply:Maybe.....I'm pretty sure he did Mary Magdeline..not to sound crass, but he WAS just a man, too.
Reply:Hell ya J.C. was tokin every day man. That's how he came up with that crazy stuff like turnin water into wine and walkin on water.
Reply:There is a theory put forth by a well known scholar of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Allegro, that held Jesus at magic mushrooms. This absurd position ruined his career.
Reply:No, he's imaginary.
Reply:Jim Croce? yeah.... probably.
Reply:Considering it didn't grow wild in the area in which Jesus lived, I'd have to say no.
Reply:drugs are bad mmmmkay. i think he knew that. but everyone else was smoking them. and using x. didnt you know that?
Reply:I never thought about that.

I don't have enough brain cells left for that one.
Reply:Most Likely
Reply:No. he didnt. B/c he was 100% Holy.
Reply:I really doubt it, sorry. Jesus was a kosher-eating Rabbi, not a hippie.
Reply:good question.
Reply:haha, never thought of it! Good observasion tho!
Reply:It is surprising that your mind is capable of thinking like that and others here as well.

What did Jesus do, to deserve, for you guys to think of him so low. He came with good teachings....something wrong with a good teaching?

He came with a good news, is there something wrong with a good news?....Why do you people think like that?

He died on the cross, sayin', Father please forgive them, for they do not know what they do....

Bible says, even though you say so much to Him...He pleads with the father to forgive you...

This is just too sad....
