What do you think F.C America should do?

For them to get better, what do you think should be changed in the team, who should come to play, who should be the new coach?

America defently needs a much better coach, I personally would go with a winning attitude coach like Chepo de la Torre. His record with Chivas was never lower than a semifinal. Even if he is a Chivista he is a profesional and will do a great job with the team's way of play.





As far as players go, America needs a Cuahtemoc replacement up front so that player can link up with Cabanas and create an elite offense like they use to have. I would sonsider bring Chaco Jimenez from Pachuca or even la Chilindrina Damian Alvarez. Chaco would be the first choice.





The biggest needs of America is in their defense and for this I would try to obtain Baloy he played for America as a forrowed player in the Libertadores last year and was the best defender they had in the team. Plus I would also reinforce the team with one more defender who can also go attack from time to time like Maza Rodriguez and Hector Reynodo do for Chivas.

Second, it's just a slump. Any team can get into a slump at anytime. In this case, this problem has been going on since Ruggeri was hired as coach for America, bringing with him some very overly paid players that didn't do jack while they were in Mexico, and it has caused a sorta of chain reaction. They need to develop their youth system, bring quality players, not just some overly hyped argentine or brazilian player.

Reply:They need to clean house!! Just like Cruz Azul did back in the 2002-2003 seasons where they were facing relegation! Kick everyone out....they need to do what their arch rival is doing...and its to play with their young players from their schools!! All that money that they invest in those stupid purchases....they should put their money into their schools and have the young guys play for the team. They will sweat and bleed the jersey for the love of the team and not for the money!! That's what every FMF team should do!!
Reply:Rigo is right, america needs to change most of their players, but most important, they need a winner coach, somebody who really knows about futbol. not somebody like "El Ruso" or el capitan Tena, just because they played in the team, also and more important they need a lider in the field like Temo used to be, Memo is still to young for that responsibility, and Villa though has a lot of experience he doesn't have the attitude to be the lider, also they need players comprometidos con defender la camiseta, and not just expecting the big check. And to do this America has to spend a lot of money, they should be thank-full that they have it, otherwise they were be en segunda division long time ago.
