You think they use blood packets? C'mon now!!?

I've seen a lot of questions about the blood some fans see on TV. They ask is it real or is it fake? The younger users are asking these questions I'm sure. What gets me is not the question but some of the ridiculous answers given to that question. I've seen answers like:

-- "They hide blood packs in their hairline and hide the pump in their pant leg" --

-- "They keep capsules in their mouths and packets in their pants and smear it on their faces when nobody is looking" --

Now, some have it half right about blood capsules. I can't tell you if they use them still but what I can say is that it's not for use on their heads, it's to create the illusion that they're bleeding from the mouth.

Let's get serious though, blood packets? C'mon now. I just can't stop shaking my head thinking about the person who thinks a wrestler is carrying a blood pack in his pants taking bump after bump only to later break it and smear it on his face.

Q: Are you serious? Are you really serious?

You think they use blood packets? C'mon now!!?
No that is just the kids on here who have been watching wrestling for 2 years.

I have to admit, 8 years ago, I thought it was real! (6 years old)

No, what they do is take a razor and very lightly break the skin where they will be getting hit, then take the shot and it opens up. The forehead bleeds really well on most people.
Reply:well I agree bout the blood pack thing cause I mean some well their pant have come down and they mostly wear spandex u could definatly see it
Reply:blood in wwe and tna depends on a lot of things sometimes they use capsules and packets, sometime they cut themselves, and sometimes they are hit hard somewhere and actually bleed
Reply:YEAH WHEN STRIKER WAS TRIANGLULAR CHOKED BY TAKER LAST WEEK
Reply:actually, they cut themselves with a small razor. They are required to do a lot of painful things as part of the job and being paid all of that money.
Reply:Roughly 90% of the time it's a bladejob, by the wrestler in question, his opponent, or the referee. Most recent example of this that comes to mind is Triple H blading Regal in a First Blood match.

Another 5% of the time happens after a shot with a foreign object, with most of them actually being another bladejob, while certain objects can easily bust an opponent open (Hell, just look at Abdullah the Butcher if you need proof of that last one).

Another 3% of the time is blood capsules/packets. Good example of this is Randy Orton during his run with Edge against D-Generation X. I think it was their New Year's Resolution match when Triple H busted his quad again. In any case, the "blood" was everywhere, and if I recall they had to change the mats because he used so many.

The last 2% is just plain freak accidents. Wrestlers taking spots and ending up bloodied, then as an example I'd have to say Hardcore Holly's match against Rob Van Dam sometime during September of 2006. During a spot, Holly was suplexing RVD from the inside of the ring to the floor, going through a table in the process. While RVD went through the table fine, Holly landed on the metal railing of the table and sliced his back open, needing 26 stitches later that night and in the process earning a standing ovation from the crowd for finishing the match.
Reply:ya i know they use blading only blood packets when they have to bleed from the mouth
Reply:OMG IM TIRED OF HEARIN THIS QUESTION!!!!!!!!

THEIRS NO BLOOD PACKET, NO FAKE BLOOD, HELL SOME1 EVEN SAID THEY USE KETCHUP!!!! BE SERIOUS THE EITHER CUT THEMSELVES IN A HIGH IMBRACED MATCH OR THEY DRAW BLOOD FOR REAL!
Reply:Since im only a Indy wrestler we rarely use them... Correction we never do. But Ive met Rey, Chavo, Punk and Eugene and they all well 3 of them told me that they carry a small razour and make the little cuts.
Reply:when the wrestlers get "busted" open at the head they use razor blades. but when the undertaker does the triangle choke hold to people and they bleed from the mouth , they use blood capsules. and when judas mesias come out in tna he uses blood capsules too even though it looks like red kool-aid lol
Reply:they probably use blood capsules..I believe when undertaker did that submission hold.. with his legs around your head..it doesn't look like that move can harm you
Reply:yes they use capsule packet and they use razorz to cut their heads so when they get hit the cut starts bleedin
Reply:most of the time real but 1 out of around 3 times its fake
